How to get Google AdSense approval for your new site

If you are a blogger or YouTuber, you have probably already been through this. This is the problem that all online business beginners encounter. Indeed, it is every blogger's dream, to get AdSense approval for their new website and earn money from their content. And it's the best way to monetize your site or YouTube channel.In this article, I will explain step by step how to get Google AdSense approval in a short time for your new site

What is Google AdSense?

For beginners, it is important to know what Google AdSense is. Google AdSense is a Google program that allows bloggers and YouTubers to earn money online using advertisements alone.

In other words, AdSense is Google's advertising network using websites or YouTube videos as support for its ads. To earn money with Google AdSense, you must have a site or blog or a YouTube channel so that Google places ads on your content. And when a visitor clicks an ad, you earn money in return. The more clicks there are, the more revenue generated will increase. It is a kind of best legitimate way to make money online.

However, to get Google AdSense approval for your site or blog, you must comply with certain conditions and Google regulations.

1.Good quality and engaging content

This part concerns a lot more bloggers. You should know that writing better quality content is a factor in keeping visitors on your site.Well, this is also one of the Google AdSense approval criteria.

You need to write quality content. Avoid spelling mistakes, respect punctuation, etc. And above all, make sure that your content is easily readable. In terms of word count, a good article should have at least 500 words. However, to have good SEO on search engines, write at least 1500 words. And it also depends on your niche.

Before applying for Google AdSense, make sure you have at least fifteen or more high-quality, well-written articles. Don't forget to include images in your articles. For images, only use royalty-free images. You can get free images on pexels . Having insufficient content is one of the many reasons why many people are rejected from the AdSense program.

Also make sure you don't have prohibited content on your site or blog. Prohibited content is for example: adult content, malware, incitement to hatred, scams, etc. You can see the list of contents here. It should be noted that your website will be reviewed manually by a human and they should be able to notice some effort when it comes to quality content.

2. Have all necessary pages

Your site must have certain  pages. This is to demonstrate that you respect visitors and how you use visitors' personal data. Google protects the personal data of its users and you should do the same.

Here are the five pages your site should have:

About ;

Contact us ;

Privacy Policy ;

Conditions of use ;

Sitemap.

This is kind of an essential pattern that most beginners forget to do. The about page to find out who is behind the site. And the contact page to allow visitors to contact you in case of violation or other reasons.

3. Avoid using copyrighted content on your site.

To go quickly, you may want to copy and paste other people's content! Well, be careful, it's plagiarism and illegal too. Please avoid this at all costs! Indeed, Google takes copyright seriously.

So you should not use copyrighted content, including images, on your blog posts under any circumstances if you want to join the Google AdSense program. I talked about this a little above, use free images on pexels. However, you can use content ideas from other sites to write your content, this is completely legal.

4. Have a responsive and fast site.

In order to guarantee a good experience for visitors, your site must be responsive. That is, your display automatically adapts to visitors' devices, including smartphones, tablets, large screens, etc.

Google wants to ensure a good user experience for all visitors to your site and you should do the same. To go quickly, you can use responsive site design tools such as WordPress. Make sure you have a beautiful and simple design for your site, to make navigation easy for visitors. You also need to take into account the fast loading of your site. That is to say, it loads quickly on all devices.

If you use WordPress or other CMS; It is also important to note that using a free theme will not affect your application in any way. Personally, I use free themes and my sites have been approved by Google AdSense.

5. Do not show other ads

When I first applied for my site, I had other listings on my site and my site was rejected. I think the ads were part of the factor in AdSense rejecting my site. So, before applying for approval, make sure to remove all other ads on your site. In short, try to avoid other ads appearing on your site while your Google AdSense account is under review.

6. Avoid fake traffic

At the beginning, all sites have difficulty getting traffic. To get more traffic, some people will click on their own site or ask friends to do so. This is bad manners and Google doesn't like it. Just write good content for search engine rankings. However, you can share your articles on social networks to increase traffic.

You should know that traffic is essential for AdSense as well as other ad networks you may choose to monetize your site with. So it is important to have traffic before you can apply AdSense. With at least 100 visits per day, it's already OK! This will put you in a better position to get your AdSense account approved.

7. Age of your domain name

Most bloggers say their domains were at least three months old when it was approved by AdSense. So, if you want to apply, make sure your site is at least three months old. You can check the Age of your domain on domaintools.com .

However, I read somewhere that in some countries the domain needs to be at least six months old before being approved by AdSense.

8. Make sure your site is live and available on Google

Before applying, always make sure your site is available on Google. That is to say, when you type the name of your site in the Google search bar, your site appears in the results. To be sure, type for example site example.com in the search bar, replace  domain with yours. If your site appears in the results, everything is OK for you. Otherwise, add your site to Google search console .And lastly, make sure your site is online! That is, a person can access your site and your host is not down.

9. Create a Google AdSense account

Of course I know, you can't apply without having a Google AdSense account. However, while creating your AdSense account, make sure you provide the correct information about yourself. For example, if you live in Paris, give your exact address and especially your post office box. Avoid creating an account in a country other than your own.

Either way, if you provide false information, you will fall into the trap! Because after your account is approved, Google will send you a letter containing a validation code to your mailbox.  you'll never receive the validation code and Google will stop showing ads on your site after four months.
